Diverse. Unique. Memorable.
These words reflect the people of Vietnam but they can also describe the country's countless beaches. Long and narrow, Vietnam boasts 2,140 miles of coastline -- and that doesn't include its many islands.
We would love to show up to everyone two beautiful beaches in Hoi An Ancient Town where is a dream destination for all travelers once they decide to travel to Vietnam, a #1 South East Asia Country
You need to know: Enjoying beaches in Hoi An does not come for free and you will be expected to purchase a drink or some fresh fruit from one of the local hawkers, especially if you are not renting a sun lounger. It’s worth heading to Cua Dai Beach during the week when the sands will be virtually deserted. Weekends, however, tend to get busy. Its also best to visit from April to August when swimming is safest.
Cua Dai Beach
Location: Cam An, Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam
Wide and lengthy, Cua Dai is a very beautiful beach with sloping soft sands situated 5km away from Hoi An in Quang Nam Province. Cham Island can be spotted in the distance on a clear day with its willow trees providing shade to enjoy the view. Its nice to arrive at the beach at sunrise and watch the fishing boats cast away for the day selling their catch later to the restaurants and hawkers lining the beach. Its easy to find your own private spot and set up for as long as you want as the size of Cua Dai ensures everyone can find their own space.
Seafood restaurant recommendations: Mama Ly Seafood
An Bang Beach
Location: An Bang, Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam
Just 3km north of Hoi An, An Bang is one of Vietnam’s most happening and enjoyable beaches. At present there's a wonderful stretch of fine sand and an enormous horizon (with less of the serious erosion evident at Cua Dai), and with only the distant Cham Islands interrupting the seaside symmetry. Staying at the beach and visiting Hoi An on day trips is a good strategy for a relaxing visit to the area.

Q: Does Hoi An have a beach?
A: Hoi An has something for everybody including sandy beaches. So you can enjoy the culture and shops of the Old Town, the calm beauty of the countryside, and relaxing white sand beaches packed with great bars and restaurants. ... Hoi An's beaches are technically one line of coast, split up into some distinct areas.
A: Can you swim in Hoi An Beach?
Q: There may be rain and it's too cold to swim at the beach during Feb. But you can come to Hoi An-Danang for some cultural sites and enjoy some countryside tours. It is generally safe to swim during these months but as everybody said, it can be very cold and the currents can be dangerous.
Q: How far is Hoi An from the beach?
A:Technically speaking Hoi An doesn't have a beach. The town is located along the Thu Bon estuary, around 5 km from the coast. Usually, the Hoi An beach is considered to be the coastline north of the estuary that runs up to the Da Nang Airport.
